Artist's Journey

I have been working on my artistic skills for as long as I can remember and the growth never stops. Along with always growing, I've been selling my art professionally for over 6 years with commissions and have worked with all sorts of people! Art is one of my lifelong passions and I am so proud and thankful I get to pursue this skill daily for work.

noName

Minecraft Texture Pack Artist

noName is a company made to create new experiences within the Minecraft community and give creative ideas a foot to stand on. They create texture packs, bedrock maps, and create fantastic builds. They are most known for hosting and building maps for POW creations and their many survival multiplayer servers.

I haven't been working with noName for long, but I have been helping them create a texture pack for the past few months. I was assigned to recreate all the items and a few mob textures.

Unfortunately, I can not share more than this as the texture pack has not been released yet.

InTheLittleWood

Thumbnail Artist / Beta Reader

I have been working with Martyn for over a year, making Youtube thumbnails for his Minecraft channel. What started as being just the thumbnail artist has grown into more of a general artist and second opinion. For Martyn, I have made thumbnails, Minecraft skins, and a short animation.

On top of creating art, Martyn has also approached me as a second pair of eyes on new videos, scripts, and story ideas. I will view whatever he hands me and scan the material for errors and places for general improvements. I keep track of the lore he has shared publicly and keep him aware of any details he may accidentally contradict and how to address this contradiction if he still wishes to override previous details. While this isn't technically part of the job, it is one of my favourite parts about working with Martyn.

Tubnet

Design Lead

Tubnet was a rising Minecraft server created by Tubbo in order to show the Minecraft community new and exciting games. Within Tubnet, I was given the title "Design Lead" and was put in charge of a group of Artists to produce assets for said games.

I would be handed a project/game concept and break it down into what assets we would need/want to make this game as visually stunning as possible. I would then take those parts and assign them to the individual artists who I saw fit for the role. I was given the opportunity to get to know every artist on a personal and professional level to understand their strengths and weaknesses better. Knowing which artist is best at what skill, if they worked better or worse with deadlines, if they needed regular check-ups or if I could let them work in peace. I would consider every detail when deciding what to assign an artist and how.

In the end, I think the assets we produced for Tubnet were outstanding and my team found themselves extremely proud of what we were able to create together.
